Abstract
Multicultural education is the outcome of the Movement of Ethnic Revival in western countries in 1960s and 1970s and the result of conflicts and compromises of interests among different groups in multicultural society. The increasing number of immigrant population and unceasing upgrading of racial conflicts have accelerated the development of multicultural education.
