Abstract
OBJECTIVE To explore the characteristics of CT manifestations of the advanced patients with Mycoplasma pneumonia so as to provide basis for the clinical diagnosis.METHODS A total of 80cases of advanced patients with M.pneumonia, who were treated in the hospital from Feb 2009to Mar 2012,were enrolled in the study, including 44cases of females and 36cases of males, with the age varying between 62and 92years old, median age(72.5±2.8)years;all the picked subjects were proved as the M.pneumoniathrough serological test, then the CT manifestations of the 80subjects were retrospectively analyzed, the test data were statistically analyzed with the use of SPSS17.0software,and the ratio was compared by using the chi-square test.RESULTS The CT manifestations of the 80advanced patients were diversified and distributed widely, with bilateral multiple lung lobe tissues involved, there were 54(67.5%)cases of left lower lobe,72cases of patchy shadows,47cases of mixed type,32cases of ground-glass opacity,16cases of consolidation shadows,12cases of acinar nodular shadows,11cases of pulmonary interstitial infiltration,7cases of pleural effusion, and 4cases of mediastinal lymph node enlargement, accounting for 90.0%,58.8%,40.0%,20.0%,15.0%,13.8%,8.8%,and 5.0%,respectively.The cases of the ground-glass opacity, patchy shadows,or mixed type were significantly more than the cases of the consolidation shadows or pulmonary interstitial infiltration, the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).CONCLUSIONThe CT manifestations of the advanced patients with M.pneumoniaare diversified and distributed widely;the left lower lobe lesion involved is dominant among the bilateral multi-bilateral lung lobe involved, and the ground-glass opacity, patchy shadow, and mixed type are common, which provides important bases for the clinical diagnosis of M.pneumoniain the advanced patients.
