Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine in Treating Nongonorreal Urethritis

Objective :To Probe into a satisfied curative method in treating nongonorreal urethritis. Methods :There were 30 patients of nongonorreal urethritis in the treatment group which treated by integrated traditional Chinese based on differentiation with western medicine minocycline hydrochloride capsules.To compare with the control group,which 30 patients treated only with minocycline hydrochloride capsules. Results :In the treatment group,15 cases(50%) were cured,8 cases(26 67%) were marked curative effect,and 23 cases(76 67%) were total curative effect.While in the control group,they were 8 cases(26 67%),7 cases(23 33%),and 15 cases(50%) respectively.There were significant difference between the two groups according to statistics(Ridit analysis, P 0 05).To compare with 2 years of follow up total curative effect in the two grups(χ 2 test), P 0 05,there was no marked difference. Conclusion :There was good curative effect in treating nongonorreal urethritis with Bazheng powder integrated with minocycline hydrochloride capsules.The basic reason of nongonorreal urethritis relapse were dissolute personal life,promiscuous sexual behavior and paying no attention to personal hygiene.
