On the Exploration of the Historical and Cultural Districts in Taiyuan City

On the basis of the analysis of concentrated historic heritages in Taiyuan City and the surrounding neighborhood,this article found out the problems in the blocks.Environment of blocks,construction images and traffic conditions are to chaotic to the development of historical and cultural districts.Therefore,the methods were proposed for the historical ruins' protection,the transformation of block construction,environment of overall blocks as well as foundation of humanities environment,in order to explore a street block with historical and cultural haracteristics,promotes the cultural reserves of Taiyuan and manifests Taiyuan's glorious history and region characters.
