Abstract

Aim To observe the effect of hemoperfusion and hemodialysis on severe acute poisoning.Method Thirty-one cases with severe acute poisoning admitted from June 2001 to March 2006 were analyzed retrospectively.Result Of 31 patients,27 patients were cured,3 patients dead died,1 patient abandoning treatment when better because of some reasons.Conclusion Hemoperfusion and hemodialysis is one of effective treatments for severe acute poisoning.
