Abstract
This paper has briefly summarized the basic characteristics of Three Gorges reservoir and the properties of sediment deposition in the reservoir area. And the main impacts of its operation mode on sediment deposition are analyzed. Some challenging issues in the future are addressed in detail in order to provide a reasonable scientific basis for the multiple-purpose utilization and reasonable operation of the reservoir.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
