Abstract

Hepatitis B is an incurable disease at present.Hepatitis B virus(HBV) covalently closed circular DNA(cccDNA),an original template of HBV pre-genome replication,is a key factor leading to hepatitis B persistent infection.This article reviews the research status of HBV cccDNA and its advancement.
