Abstract
Objective:The protective effect of Naotai Capsule was observed on the rats with cerebral ischemia reperfusion. Methods: 70 Sprague-Dawley(SD) rats were randomly divided into 7 groups:sham operation group, model group,Ninodiping group,Xueshuantong group,Naotai Capsule groups(low, middle and high dosages).Animals were subjected to cerebral ischemia reperfusion through middle cerebral artery occlusion(MACO) with silk thread ligation for 2 h and sacrificed 7 days after reperfusion. Some indexes were detected such as neurological deficit scores, and triphenyltetrazolium chloride(TTC) dyeing was used for observing the pathological changes. Results: The highest neurological score was in the model group, descending significantly in Naotai Capsule groups,Ninodiping group and Xueshuantong group, especially in the Naotai Capsule middle and high dosage groups(P0.01).Compared with the model group, there was a decrease in infarct region of cerebral ischemia reperfusion rats in medicine treatment groups(P0.01).Conclusion: Naotai Capsule has a neuroprotective effect against cerebral ischemic reperfusion injury.
