New Liberalism, Neo-liberalism and the International Financial Crisis

In western academic circles, there are both new liberalism and neo-liberalism. However, when it comes to the Chinese academic circles, the words new liberalism and neo-liberalism have often been translated into the same Chinese words, and this causes much conceptual confusion. As a result of the confusion, many scholars in china only attribute the international financial crisis to neo-liberalism, which is not helpful for understanding the relations between neo-liberalism and international financial crisis.
