Blending of Chinese - Japanese literatures and their relation in poetry

There is a special relationship between Chinese Poetry and Japanese poetry. There is an obvious influence of Chinese poetry upon Japanese poetry from very early times at about the eighth catury,when Chinese poetry was in an advanced and prosperous period,and Japan and China kept a close relationship so that Japanese poetry was greatly developed.
