Abstract
Objective:To investigate the surgical treatment of posterior condylar tibial plateau coronal fractures through individual posterior approach.Methods: 12 cases of posterior condylar tibial plateau coronal fractures were treated through posteromedial approach or posterolateral approach or posteromedial combined posterolateral approach.Results: All the 12 cases were followed up from 10-24 months(average 13 months).Hohl score method was used to evaluate the knee function and 10 cases were excellent and 2 cases were good.Fracture reduction was good and no articular surface collapse was noticed by X ray examination.Conclusion: Individual posterior approach can expose the posterior condylar tibial plateau thoroughly and can provide wider operation space and was helpful to the reduction and fixation of fractures.
