Abstract
Objective To discuss the treatment of the posterior condylar tibial plateau fracture through posterior approach.Methods Eight patients with this kind of fracture were treated through posterior medial or lateral approach.Lateral condyle fractures in 5,medial condyle fracture in 1 and bilateral condyle fractures in 2 cases.Results All patients were followed up for 5-26 months with a average of 13 months.According to Hohl score of the knee joint function,excellent: 6 cases;good: 2 cases.In X-ray images: the reduction of all cases were fine,without joint surface collapses.Conclusion The posterior approach can be more exposed tibial plateau latera l Condyle and provide a wider operating space which is conducive to the fracture reduction and internal fixation.
