The Development of National Opera Composition at Different Stages after the Cultural Revolution and the Reflection of Its Status Quo

At the beginning of the 20th century,opera was introduced into China.After improved and created by musicians for generations,Chinese School opera has now formed,which has the characteristics of both the West and China.Our national opera composition has developed at different stages after the Cultural Revolution.The paper focuses on the analysis of works and their features of national opera,and gives a reflection of the status quo of national opera.Some practical advices on how to inherit and develop Chinese national opera in the market economy are put forward from the aspects of national opera composition,the cultural help by government,the cultivation of the habit of mass consumption,the rehearsal and reprocessing of traditional plays,and innovation of stage performance.
