Abstract
On the foundation of simply analyzing traditional ecological footprint model,the condition of environmental sustainable development of researched area was evaluated with ecological footprint calculation model based on energy analysis theory.Setting Heilongjiang Province as an example,its ecological footprint and ecological capacity in 2000-2007 were calculated.The results indicated that the ecological footprint of Heilongjiang Province in 2000-2007 exceeded ecological capacity,so the economic development of this area was unsustainable.
