Research on Reform of Natural Monopoly Industries in China

Abstract

Natural monopoly industries are one field of government regulation. The situation and problems of natural monopoly industries in China are serious. The aim of natural monopoly industries reform is to realize effective competition. So we should separate the functions of government from those of the enterprise, establish the independent supervision framework. And we should differentially treat the natural monopoly business and unnatural one. Even more important, we should establish perfect antimonopoly law.
