Abstract

Influential factors for selective hydrogenation of benzene to cyclohexene over ruthenium catalysts and preparation of the catalysts were reviewed, including influence of precursor, preparation methods, carriers and additives (water, organic additives, inorganic additives) on catalytic properties of the ruthenium catalysts, and influence of temperature, pressure, stirring velocity, catalyst loadings and reaction time on benzene conversion, selectivity to and yield of cyclohexene.
