Abstract

Remediation technologies for polluted sediment and their properties were introduced, with analysis of the problem existed and its future applications. Currently there are three kinds of remediation technologies including physical, chemical and bioremediation. Physical remediation takes effect but with high cost, chemical remediation is cheaper but with secondary pollution while bioremediation can treat great amount of pollution with low input and low efficiency. The combination of the remediation will be prospective.
