Progresses of Remediation Techniques for Polluted Sediment in Rivers and Lakes

Abstract

Remediation techniques for polluted sediment are discussed in this paper.Currently there are three kinds of remediation technologies including physical,chemical and bioremediation.Physical remediation takes effect fast but with high cost,chemical remediation is cheaper but with secondary pollution while bioremediation can treat great amount of pollution with low input and low efficiency.The combination of the three remediation methods will be prospective.
