Abstract

Obiective To develop a method to determine Astragaloside IV in compound Radix Astragali oral solution by HPLC-ELSD. Methods HPLC-ELSD was used for analyzing Astragaloside IV in compound Radix Astragali oral solution, with Alltech C 18 column(5μm, 250×4.6mm),and acetonitrile-water(36:64)as a mobile phase. The flow rate was 1. Oml/min. The temperature of drift tube for ELSD was 110℃ and the flow rate of nebulizing gas was 2.3L/min. Results The calibration curve was liner in the range of 0. 997~15.95μg ,R=0. 9994. The recvery of the added sample was 95.4% and RSD was 4.2%. Conclusion The method is simple, rapid, more precision, accurate and reproducible, and it provides an effective way for quality control of Astragaloside IV in compound Radix Astragali oral solution.
