Max and Engels′ Ecological Civilization Thought and Practical Dimension:from a Perspective of Multidimensional Ecological Civilization Building

Ecological civilization is achievable based on the harmonious multiple developments of human,the nature and the society.Environmental degradation has been an increasingly significant threat and a challenge to the survival and sustainable development of human being.From the perspective of ecological civilization in the ontology,theory of practice,theory of historical materialism and axiology of Marx-Engels,this article discusses the significance of the establishment of contemporary ecological civilization.The ecological civilization building is a complex social system,which includes five dimensions,economy,politics,culture,society,and ecology.Inherent integration can be found between the theories of ecological civilization of Marx-Engels and the value implication of the multiple dimensions of contemporary ecological civilization building.As the guidance of Marx-Engels′s ecological civilization thought,based on the value implication of the multiple dimensions of contemporary ecological civilization,it is expected to establish ecological economy,ecological polity,ecological culture,ecological community,for the future of human sustainable development.
