Abstract

The generation pattern and their features of power frequency electric field,power frequency magnetic field,radio frequency interference,and audible noise were discussed.And solutions to better control the electromagnetic environment were introduced,e.g.GIS solution,substation layout optimization.Finally,the standard limits and actual readings of the electromagnetic environment of UHV AC substation are compared with those of EHV AC substation and they are concluded as almost equal.
