Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of valsartan in treatment of chronic heart failure caused by Hypertension and its impact on N terminal Brain natriuretic peptide precursor(NT-pro BNP), High-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP). Methods 104 patients with hypertension and chronic heart failure admitted to our hospital from October 2012 to March 2014 were randomly divided into observation group and control group, 52 cases in each group. The patients in control group were given conventional symptomatic treatment, the observation group were given valsartan treatment on the basis of control group, the two groups were all treated for three months. Therapeutic effects and cardiac function changes were observed, before and after treatment, the blood hs-CRP, BNP levels of two groups were detected and compared. Results The total effective rate of heart failure treatment of observation group(90.38%) was significantly higher than control group(71.15%), the difference was significant(P 0.05). After treatment, stroke volume(SV), left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF) of two groups all were increased, the SV, LVEF of observation group was significantly higher(P 0.05); left ventricular systolic diameter(LVESd), left ventricular end diastolic diameter(LVEDd) all were reduced, but LVEDd of observation group was significantly lower than the control group(P 0.05). After treatment NT-pro BNP, hs-CRP levels of observation group were significantly lower than the control group(P 0.05). Conclusion In treatment of hypertension caused by chronic heart failure, Valsartan can effectively improve the therapeutic effect, improve cardiac function and inhibit ventricular remodeling, has an important role in controlling disease progression and improving quality of life, worthy of application.
