Clinical Analysis of 89 Cases with Myasthenia Gravis

Abstract
Objective To summarize the clinical treatment to myasthenia gravis.Methods The clinical data of 89 cases with myasthenia gravis were analyzed,75 patients received drug treatment while the 14 patients complicated with thymoma received excision of thymoma.Results Drug treatment led to remission in 11 cases,improvement in 60 cases and no effect in 4 cases,the total effective rate reached 92%;after the surgical treatment,steady remission was found in 4 cases,drug remission in 8 cases and no effect in 2 cases.Conclusions Myasthenia gravis is an autoimmune disease,the treatment includes drug treatment and surgical treatment,for those complicated with thymoma,excision of thymoma will be effective.
