This article analyzed the reasons of project payment default in construction field, expounds on the corresponding measures against project payment default should be taken such as standardizing the construction market, strengthening legal system in construction field, improving project guarantee system, improving the credit management and enhancing the risk-prevention consciousness of the contracting enterprises, put out some thought on how to establish long-efficacy mechanism of keeping away project payment default.
