ObjectiveTo study the frequency of the CD4+CD25+FoxP3+ regulatory T cells(Treg) in the patients with non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC) and its clinical significance.MethodsThe percentage of the CD4+CD25+FoxP3+ Treg cells in the peripheral blood from 32 patients with NSCLC and 15 healthy controls detected by flow cytometry.ResultsCD4+CD25+FoxP3+ Treg cells from patients with NSCLC were significantly increased,compared with those from the control,they were(0.54±0.51)% and(1.40±0.98)% respectively(P0.01).ConclusionThere is an increasing of the proportion of CD4+CD25+FoxP3+ Treg cells in peripheral blood of the patients with NSCLC,which probably may be related to immuno-tolerance with NSCLC ,suggesting depletion of the CD4+CD25+FoxP3+ Treg cells may be an effective strategy for NSCLC patients.
