Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the clinical value of dual source CT(DSCT) coronary angiography in the diagnosis of coronary artery disease(CAD).Methods: Thirty patients with suspected CAD underwent DSCT coronary angiography and conventional coronary angiography. The diagnostic results of the two methods were analyzed statistically. Results: Among 450 coronary segments of 30 cases,38 segments with mild stenosis,23 with moderate stenosis and 36 with severe stenosis were diagnosed by DSCT coronary angiography, with satisfactory imaging quality.Compared with conventional coronary angiography, the overall sensitivity, specificity and accuracy rate for diagnosis of CAD by DSCT angiography were 94.12%,95.34% and 95.11% respectively. Conclusion: Compared with coronary angiography, the DSCT coronary angiography has rather higher sensitivity and specificity in the quantitative diagnosis of CAD and would provide an accurate and reliable way for CAD evaluation.
