On the Influence and Application of Ancient Chinese Philology on the Teaching of Chinese as a Foreign Language

Abstract

This paper explores the influence of ancient Chinese philology on the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,especially on the teaching of Chinese characters.This research shows three aspects that the teaching process may benefit from ancient Chinese philology.Meanwhile,it also points out some problems in application of ancient Chinese philology in the teaching process.
