Study on the Chemical Components of Essential Oil of Thymus quinquecostatus Celak.from Shandong Yimeng

Abstract

The chemical constitutes of the essential oil of Thymus quinquecostatus Celak.from Lu mount,Yimeng Mountain area,North China were analyzed by using GC -MS.Fifty nine compounds were identified representing 98.513% of the oil components.The main component is p-cymene(17.395%),followed by thymol(12.207%),1-borneol(12.084%),carvacrol(9.002%) and terpenene-4-ol(6.323%).
