Abstract
The effects of germination and seedling growth of the Solanum nigrum seed with different concentrations of salicylic acid(SA) were determined, with water as control in the experiment. The results showed that as the treatment of different concentrations of salicylic acid on seed, the seed germination rate, germination index and vigor index were decreased by increasing the concentrations of salicylic acid. The plant height, stem diameter reached the best of 0.5 g/L with salicylic acid.
