Abstract

Objective: This experiment was designed to study the action of RhoA on gastric cancer cell migration and the influence of PKA on this action. Methods: Boyden chamber motility assay and scrape-motility assay were applied and the effects of RhoA stimulatant LPA and PKA stimulatant cAMP on migration of human gastric cancer cell SGC -7901 were investigated. Results: The migration of cells stimulated with RhoA stimulatant LPA was obviously increased. In cells stimulated with cAMP and then LPA, the migration did not change significantly. Conclution: RhoA could promote cancer cell migration, whereas PKA could hold back cancer cell migration through suppressing RhoA activation.
