Abstract

The nutrient solution culture method was employed to study the effect of CaCl2 solution soaking of maize under salt stress on seedling growth of some physiological indicators.The results show that CaCl2 solution soaking maize seedlings increased proline content,reduced the relative conductivity and water potential of maize seedlings;under salt stress,CaCl2 solution soaking of maize seed increased chlorophyll content,promoted root activity.
