Metabolic changes of mice ethanol and acetaldehyde concentration in blood after drunk by liquor with different drunken degree.

Abstract

[Objective] By measuring the metabolic changes of ethanol and acetaldehyde concentration in the mice blood after intragastric infusion by different white spirit,to establish an animal model of alcohol intoxication,alcoholic liver and brain injury.And moreover,to explore the methods which distinguish the degree of drunkenness of wine and evaluation indices. [Methods] 105 BALB /c mice were randomly divided into three groups,48.0% alcohol control group,sample one group,sample two group. They were all infused with 10mg /L dose.At the 0.5,1,1.5,2,3 hours after intragastric infusion,group 1 and group 2 were taken femoral artery blood. And then blood alcohol and acetaldehyde concentration were measured by gas chromatography. More over,the degree of drunkenness was determined by comparing the difference of the ebriety time and sober-up time of the mice. [Results] Blood alcohol concentration of group 1 was higher than group 2,the difference in acetaldehyde concentration was not statistically significant. The result was consistent with oranoleptic indicator. The drunkenness firstly happened in control group. [Conclusion] Blood ethanol concentration is the main factor in mice's drunkenness. Acetaldehyde concentration is not statistically significant in different samples. BLood ethanol in the mice with lower drunken degree metabolizes faster,and its concentration is lower. Compared with 48.0% alcohol,the two white spirit samples after zymogene processing postpone the time of beginning drunken. The method established in this study can be used to distinguish white spirits which have the same percent of alcohol but different drunken degrees.
