Abstract
It was described the method for isolating and determinating chloramphenicol residues in milk. Chloram-phenicol in milk samples was extracted by ethyl acetate, and the extracts were purified with a mixture of chloro-form-hexane(1+1, V/V). Chloramphenicol was quantified by high performmmance liquid chromatography (HPLC)on silica coated column type C18 with UV detection at 278 nm, and with the mobile phase of acetonitrile-0.005mol/L ammonium hydrogen phosphate(18+82, V/V). The results showed that the average recovery was 94.76%,and average coefficient of variation was less than 12.0%.
