Economic analysis and drug efficacy of two regimens of levofloxacin in treatment of lower respiratory tract infection in elderly

Abstract

Objective To explore the economic analysis and drug efficacy of two regimens of Levofloxacin in treatment of lower respiratory tract infection in elderly.Methods By order of admission,98 elderly patients with lower respiratory tract infection were randomly divided into observation group and control group(n=49 cases),the observation group received levofloxacin levofloxacin tablets needles and sequential therapy and the control group received levofloxacin injection continuous infusion therapy.The effects,adverse reactions,and methods of economics were analyzed.Results The efficiency of the two groups were 85.7% and 84.2%(P0.05).The cost-effectiveness analysis: C were 1081.20 and 773.28;E were 85.7% and 84.2%;C / E were 12.6 and 9.2;ΔC / ΔE is 208.4.Conclusion Two different dosing regimens of levofloxacin in the treatment of lower respiratory tract infection clinical results have been very,and from an economic point of analysis of drug levofloxacin sequential therapy is more economical.
