Abstract

Objective To explore pathogenic state of subclinical thyroid diseases for Xinhui area Methods The indices of thyroid function were checked up by random sampling 2550 cases in physical examinee The incidence of subclinical thyroid diseases was judged thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) level abnormalities Results The detectable rate of subclinical hyperthyroidism is 5 45% and the rate of slight hypothyroidism is 6 98% The mean value comparisons of T 3, T 4, FT 3, FT 4 and TSH between the two diseases have very notably difference (all for the P0 01) Conclusion The Xinhui area exists the pathogenic phenomena of subclinical thyroid diseases In comparison with subclinical hyperthyroidism, the incidence of subclinical hypothyroidism is a little height
