Abstract
The residue decomposistion dynamics of phorate, dimethoate, dichlorvos, parathion-methyl and phoxim in cucumber were detected with a rapid determining method. The results showed that the decomposistion rates of Dichlorvos and Phoxim were the highest, and that of Phorate was slow, with only 50% of phorate broken down five days after application. The detection of the samples taken randomly from market showed that the residue problem of organophosphorus pesticide in cucumber was more serious than that in other fruit vegetables.
