Abstract

A field experiment was conducted to reveal residual dynamics and the final residues of phorate and malathion in peanut and soil, and application safety was assessed. The residual dynamic tests results showed that the half-live of phorate in soil was 6.6-7.2 d,and malathion's was 1.1-1.5 d,and the half-live of phorate in peanut plant was 2.4-3.4 d,and malathion's was 0.9-1.4 d,which implied that two pesticides belonged to non-persistent pesticides(T1/230 d).The final residue tests showed that two pesticides in soil, plant, shell and kernel were all lower than the minimum detection limit of determination.According the reference dose and methods of pesticides for registration to use were below the MRLs.
