Abstract

Objective:To prepare compound benzoic acid gel and establish high-performance liquid-affinity chromatography for determining benzoic acid and salicylic acid in compound benzoic acid gel.Methods:Carbopol 940 was used as gel matrix to prepare the compound benzoic acid gel with routine method.The solid phase was ultrasphere ODS column(5μm,4.6 mm × 250 mm),and the mobile phase was methanol/water(40:60,v/v).The wave length was 227 nm.Results:The gel was stable.The average recovery rate and relative standard deviation were 100.31% and 1.10% for benzoic acid and 99.75% and 1.53% for salicylic acid.The linear ranges of benzoic acid and salicylic acid were 16 to 75 mg·L-1(r = 0.999 2) and 7.5 to 40 mg·L-1(r =0.999 0),respectively.Conclusion:The high-performance liquid-affinity chromatography established in this study is simple,rapid,and accurate.
