Abstract

Objective To observe the curative effect of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine for children with pneumonia. Methods 80 children with pneumonia were randomly divided into treatment group and control group. All cases received anti-inflammatory, antasthmatic symptomatic treatment, and the treatment group got extra self-prepared decoction for dissipating phlegm. Results The treatment group had better curative effect than the control group, and the treatment course shortened obviously. Conclusions The integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine for children with pneumonia has significant curative effect with shorten course.
