Abstract
In order to improve the efficiency of the gear's modeling and analysis,a parametric modeling program of a pair of helical gear was established through the secondary development of ANSYS with APDL.Then we analyzed the contact stress and obtained the distribution of the tooth surface's contact stress and the tooth root's bending stress. Finally, compared with the traditional CAD/CAE method,it validated that this method had the same accuracy in gear's modeling and finite element analysis, but it was more efficient.
