Abstract
According to torque ripple of brushless DC motor, the different PWM modulation mode and overlapping commutation method are used to minimize torque pulsation when current commutation is considered. The Matlab/simulink was used to simulate this control system. The result shows that when the modulating frequency of PWM is increased and the proper duty cycle and overlapping commutation angle are chosen, the commutation torque ripple of brushless DC motor would be reduced successfully.
