Abstract

In order to know the germicidal efficacy and stability of a compound plant disinfection solution, carrier quantitative germicidal test was used for observation. The results showed that the 50% solution (v/v) of the plant disinfectant with a 5 min and 10 min contact time killed 100% of Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus on cloth strips respectively. 40% solution with a 10 min contact time killed also 100% of Candida albicans on cloth strips. Organic substance had certain influence on its germicidal efficacy. After storing its stock solution in 54℃ thermostat for 14 days, its germicidal efficacy did not change significantly.
