Abstract
Objective This research aims to expose the clinical implication of soluble CD40 ligand. Methods 57 patients were divided into three groups including 20 stable angina(SA),22 unstable angina(UA)and 15 acute myocardial infarction (AMI) and seven of them underwent PCI.There were 22 as control group. Serum levels of sCD40L were determined by enzyme linked immununosorbent assay(ELISA). Meanwhile,the levels of sCD40L were compared with morphology of complex stenoses and the levels of sCD40L before and after PCI 30 days. Results (1)The levels of serum sCD40L were significantly higher in the UA and AMI group than in the control group( 6.43±2.61, 9.69±3.17 vs 2.64±0.59,P0.01=.(2)The levels of sCD40L were higher in the UA group than in the SA group(6.43±2.61 vs 4.72±1.51,P0.05=. The levels of sCD40L were significantly higher in the AMI group than in the SA group(9.69±3.17 vs 4.72±1.51,P0.05=. (3)The levels of sCD40L is significantly higher in the SA group than in the control group(4.72±1.51 vs 2.64±0.59, P0.01=. (4)The levels of sCD40L were significantly higher in the AMI group than in the UA group(9.69±3.17 vs 6.43±2.61, P0.01=. (5)The levels of sCD40L is significantly lower in the after PCI 30 days group than in the before PCI group(t=13.97,P0.01=. Conclusion The enhanced level of serum soluble CD40L may play an important role in acute coronary syndromes.It is one of the index of reflecting instability of atheoscleotic plaques.
