Five Wild Plants with High Ornamental Values in Jianfengling,Hainan Island

Although many exotic ornamental plants were introduced into South China and widely used,the native ornamental plants were still lack of studies.In order to provide some valuable information for the utilization of native ornamental plants in the South China,this paper introduced five wild plants from tropical rain forest in Jangfengling,Hainan Island,including Firmiana hainanensis,Syzygium tephrodes,Alniphyllum fortunei,Elaeocarpus dubius and Peltophorum tonkinensis,which their main oramental characteristics are flower color and tree architecture.The ecological properties and distribution of the 5 species were also introduced in the paper.
