Abstract
Objective To investigate mRNA expression of proto-oncogene FBI-1 and HCCR in the blood of hepatocellular carcinoma and liver cirrhosis, and to explore their relation with clinic parameters. Methods Quantity real-time fluorescence polymerase chain reaction(PCR) was used for the detection of FBI-1 and HCCR mRNA expression in the blood of 41 hepatocellular carcinoma patients before surgery,3 liver cirrhosis patients before surgery, and 10 healthy volunteers. The relationship of FBI-1 and HCCR mRNA expression with clinic parameters was analyzed by Fisher's exact test or Spearman's analysis of correlation. Results The level of FBI-1 and HCCR mRNA expression was higher in the blood of hepatocellular carcinoma patients than that in hepatic cirrhosis patients.FBI-1 and HCCR mRNA expression was negative in the blood of the healthy volunteers.FBI-1 mRNA expression was positively correlated with alpha fetoprotein(AFP) level(P0.01),and also positively correlated with HCCR mRNA expression(P0.01).Conclusion Abnormal increase of FBI-1 and HCCR mRNA expression occurs in the blood of hepatocellular carcinoma and liver cirrhosis patients.FBI-1 mRNA expression is positively correlated with AFP level.
