Abstract
Systematic experiments concerning morphological and physiological changes associated with senescence of cut Rose Flowers were conducted. The results showed that certain concentration of CoCl2 could inhibit the synthesis of MDA and delay the reduction of soluble sugar content, slow the increase in proline and cut flowers of water loss, thereby delaying senescence cut flowers.7 mg/L CoCl2 was the fitest to preservate the cut Rosa hybrida flowers in this experiments.
