Exploitation and Utilization of the Grassland Resources in the West of Jilin Province

Grassland is the most important vegetation in the West of Jilin Province and is the concentrated reflection of regional comparative advantage of natural resources.The serious degeneration of grassland and environment caused by years of predating exploitation became the main obstacle for sustainable development in this area.To shake off the ecological disaster in the West Jilin Province,thriving grassland industry was the best strategic choice.It was a must step to set up grassland industry on the principle of grassland agricultural ecology,that was to develop animal husbandry,foage industry,meadow industry and grassland tourism systematically.
