Abstract

Objective:To evaluate the histopathology efficacy of thinprep cytology test(TCT).Methods:The result of TCT from 13856 patients(from January of 2008 to December of 2010) were analyzed retrospectively compared with histopathology detection.Result:The results of TCT show: 378 cases up to ASC-US,322 cases were cured by cervical biopsy, and ASC-US 122 cases(37.58%),ASC-H ASC-H 21 cases(6.25%),LSIL 112 cases(34.78%),HSIL 62 cases(19.25%),SCC 6 cases(1.86%).The 1193 patients with deferent degree chronic cervicitis were cured by histopathology detection, and CIN 11cases(0.92%).By histopathology detection,Inflammation of ASC-US 36 cases(29.7%),CIN I 55 cases(45.45%),CIN II 23 cases(19.01%),CIN III 16 cases(4.95%),Cervical cancer 1cases(0.83%).Coincidence: rate compared with the pathologic diagnosis eas LSIL 35.7%(40/112)、HSIL 74.2%(46/62)、SCC 100%(6/6).Coincidence rate of HSIL was higher than that of LSIL(X2=27.57 P0.01),There was significant difference between them(P0.01).By histopathology detection,ASC-H included Inflammation 3 cases(14.29%),CIN I 1 cases(4.76%),CIN II 5 cases(23.81%),CIN III 9 cases(42.85%),Cervical cancer 3 cases(14.29%),CIN II and up of all were 17cases(80.95%),which mean CIN II and up were more possible. Conclusion:Diagnosis of HSIL by TCT has a higher consistent with the histology.ASCUS and LSIL were the difficulty with TCT,Improving the accuracy diagnosis of ASCUS and LSIL by TCT is an important way for clinical applications, but there were false positive and negative in the results of TCT.
