Abstract
The fine martensite could be gained in 70Mn2Mo cast steel roller by laser strengthening.The microhardness and hardened depth of the roll can reach 920HV and 0 6mm respectively.After tempering at high temperature,the hardness and the hardened depth can be maintained above 430HV and 0 4mm respectively.It is showed that the laser treated rollers possess good tempering resistance.
