Abstract
Objective:To study the clinical application of serum cystatin C(Cys C) in early impairment of renal function in patients of hypertension.Methods:136 patients were divided into two groups according to clinical diagnoses:group Ⅰ,diagnosed as hypertension;groupⅡ,diagnosed as hypertension and impairment of renal function.Cys C were measured by immunoturbidimetry in MODULAR P800,BUN and SCr were measured by biochemistry analysis.Results:Cys C positively correlated with BUN and SCr(r=0.7932,P0.001 and r=0.6825,P0.001)in groupⅠ,In groupⅡ,Cys C had also positive correlation with BUN and SCr(r=0.4128,P0.001 and r=0.6103,P0.001).The abnormal result of Cys C in group Ⅰ was 86.3%,which was higher than that of BUN(6.4%) and SCr(3.6%).Conclusion:Detecting serous level of Cys C is a convenient,feasible,reliable and sensitive method,Cys C,which is a sensitive indicator for the diagnosis of GFR contrary to BUN and SCr,The detection can evaluate the damages on renal function quickly and exactly.It is worth of clinical spreading and application.
